Our Interlock Systems can be used to determine sequences of operations and to avoid failures in machinery and to protect the safety of personnel.

Interlock Key System, the release of one or more keys insertion is constrained according to some predeterminated sequence of operations with other keys.
From a minimum or two cylinders, can be used, in combination with the other Interlocking Systems KD -KL.
The locks KD1 are interlock safety systems, they are usually installed on doors of panels of MV / HV, in the Capacitor Banks or on Box
Transformers.
The key cannot be removed until the door is closed in complete safety.
The cylinder of lock KD1-70 has a depth of 70mm. to allow the fitting on fireproof doors or in general with increased thickness.

This type of interlock is generally used to guarantee the safety and restrict access to dangerous areas, machinery or moving mechanisms.
The key can be only removed by pressing the released button to energize the internal electromagnet.
The LED light indicates when you can turn and remove the key and use it for other operation sequence.
Up to 3 more exchange contacts can be added.
A timer can be set for removing the key after a certain time; this is suitable for fitting in electrical system in environments where are condensers, inertia motors or formation of gas.
The box is made entirely of stainless steel and varnished RAL 7035 grey or another colour on request.
The internal mechanism is made of stainless steel with nickel-plated brass pins cylinder and a 100% continous duty solenoid of 24Vdc – 110Vdc – 220Vdc.
An internal rectifier has to be used in series with the electromagnet for AC applications.
The interlock is supplied with 2 spare keys and a kit for correct assembly.
It is used as interlocking device for disconnectors, circuit breakers, earthing
switches or to regulate access to dangerous areas such as capacitor banks, etc..
The switch can be controlled only by energizing the electromagnet, at the end of operation becomes possible extraction of the key.
Each block contains contacts 1 NO + 1 NC contact.
The contacts are self-cleaning type (see R20).
The cylinder lock is the same for all the interlocking systems, so it becomes possibile to create exchanges of keys among all the devices.
The escutcheon anodized aluminium front place can be customized by laser engraving.
VOLTAGE COILS:
24Vdc – 100Vdc – 220Vdc. For use in AC is provide a rectifier.
The KD Chain is a custom version of the standard KD interlocks usually used for special applications. The length of the chain is up to request. Usually it is installed when there is a special request to put in safety a certain area (Gates, Manhole, etc.) and it is not possible to use the standard latch.
The 3 keys version of the standard KB that includes a switch for the manual selection of the key that must be released.
